    Hey, Great thread!
    So I did the following:

. Signed up to Parcel motel
. Added the uk address to my google wallet & set it as default
. Downloaded TunnelBear, Set it to uk and turned it on.
    . Browsed to [ http://ipcim.com/en/?p=where ] - PC thinks im in London.
. Went to http://www.google.co.uk/nexus/10/ to see how far I'd get (Not actually buying one)

. Using Chrome when signed in I get the "Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet... " message.
. I signed out of gmail and I still get the same message

. Setup a new UK gmail account, If I try buy the nexus 10 signed in with this (via internet explorer) I can get as far as the "Add to cart" screen but cannot get any further, no error messages, just hangs.

    Anyone else having similar issues?
    Rob

I saw that yeah, it's a tricky one.

Yes, I seem to be having the same problem. As soon as I signed into my google account, there was no going further. It looks like this is going to be a lot more difficult than last time. Anyone have any ideas?

Temporary technical problem I'd say most likely.

But just to note that despite doing all that you've done it is still hit and miss as to whether your order will be fully executed.

Just be careful of double charging etc as well. Demand for the nexus 10 is probably a lot less than last year so you may find out more efficiently that your order has been fully accepted or not, unlike the experience some had last year.

I got my nex 10 within the first few weeks, first attempt and with no problems.

Months later using the same account and setup I had 5 cancelled orders for the nex4 for my GF.

    Hit and miss.

Using CyberGhost I just ran through to the credit card stage for a Nexus 10. Dunno is it a problem with TunnelBear or what.

Theres a deal on CyberGhost of 5e, it says it doesnt include the UK server but if you dont use their software you can use the UK server.

Using Chrome and my normal gmail account with tunnelbear for UK I got straight through to the purchase confirmation page with an N7, so there is nothing generally wrong with device purchases in play or chrome using tunnelbear.

. Just downloaded & installed firefox
. Turned tunnelbear on (set to uk)
. Went to purchase nexus 10 (not signed in) and I get the "Device not available in your country..."

. Closed browser and signed in with uk account, Get same "Device not available in your country..."

    Might give cyberghost a bash..

would never even get me to the uk playstore unless i used EI. Either way mines being purchased up north so not as many hoops to jump through.

For those with Twitter. @gavinphelan12 is posting loads of stuff. The same guy I linked to before.

So it seems he didn't rip off the Google+ post after all.

Nexus 5 may not be available in Ireland on contract, so depends on how much your willing to stump up in up front capital cost.

After that, it depends what you want in your phone. Leaked specs for Nexus 5 can be taken as a given at this stage almost. so is relatively straightforward to compare from a specs junkie point of view.

Vanilla android or OEM User Interface is also a consideration.

No harm waiting till official launch of Nex 5 - see availability, check pricing etc... and then decide. Nex 5 will be revealed in a matter of days In my opinion

It's hard to tell. Android Police are in talks with him by the looks with it. Or are trying to anyway.
I'm curious as to why he avoids Camera questions and the viewing angles do seem more like a dummy. Also the time on the phone says 4.40, usually something Google does to signify the version of Android.

    It's a mystery!

I bet we won't see anything announced until Friday.

Will be very interested to see if the battery has improved over the 4 which I find pretty poor compared to my HTC one, also how have they improved the camera and the sound from the phone, those will decide whether or not I upgrade from the 4

Using the tunnel bear method with Uk gmail address and Parcel Motel address (but with Irish visa/debit card registered to my irish address), i can log on to the UK Google play store, add a nexus device to my cart. When I enter the cart, the next step is to "Proceed". I am unsure as to whether clicking the 'Proceed' button will commit me to buying the nexus device so I decided against taking it further just in case. But the signs are good, does anybody know if the 'Proceed' button is the final step (i.e. does pressing it commit you to buying the device)

did anyone else read the recent stories about the unboxing pic, supposedly in a Carphone Warehouse in Ireland?

http://androidcommunity.com/nexus-5-unboxing-image-surfaces-20131030/ (speculating it's launching in Ireland)
http://www.droid-life.com/2013/10/30/nexus-5-cant-seem-to-stay-out-of-the-way-of-blurry-cams-surfaces-again-and-again/ (story that the original poster put it on Overclockers, then got scared)
    Twitter post: https://twitter.com/N1troz/status/395520656777154560
Pic (I guess this is from a Redditor): http://imgur.com/1H1vJVZ or http://i.imgur.com/1H1vJVZ.png

Mobilesyrup put all of the recent pics into a collage, then noted the specs:

    Your thoughts?

Sorry - the Twitter thread noted the leaker's location was Northern Ireland.
I thought Google might be repaying the Irish for their great work as Google's advertising profit centre!
