No Surprise there - Dublin guy gets sent off a few weeks ago for 2 yellows, but of course Cork is a different story.... hit guy over head = not red.

    Bottled.

Awful referee decision. You can't let that go!

    Game changer.

After the kk game all we heard was he's not a dirty player, definite red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,237 ✭✭✭ceegee

O'Neill would need to shoot someone to get a red card this year

Have cork paid off every ref this year! That was a red. Some very soft reds handed out v cork this year which really put them on their way. Can't beleive that!

Cork again getting help from the refs. How was that not a red.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 868 ✭✭✭Gerry91

What a one minute swing this could be. Should be down to 14 could get a goal

I'm abroad so if anyone could be kind enough to pm me a link to a "recipe" ;) for hurling, it would be much appreciated :)

More utter utter cowardice from GAA officials, umpire in particular should be held to account after the game.

Poor decision not to send him off, depends on what he was told though

That has to hurt!!!! unbelievable first save

Clare go up the field and score.

    Great drama!

    6-4 Clare.

The best thing to happen to Cork all year has been the sending off against limerick. Refs seem determined not to send off a Cork player since then. Can't believe Shane o'Neill is still on the field.

Definitely should have been a red for that!

Whats they rule regarding the keeper coming off his line for a penalty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,100 ✭✭✭Browney7

Should that 21 not have been retaken as the keeper was practically on top of the free taker when he took it?

I'm sure it was alright, because the freetaker had lifted the ball before he moved.

    8 to 5 Clare

Umpires never want to get involved imo, there is always off the ball incidents in front of them but rarely tell the ref - unless a player lies injured on the ground, they rarely talk to ref.

I honestly do not know in the slightest, I'd assume neither of the umpires had the balls to make a big decision so early on.

Each of the Clare forwards look like they can get a score from play/ win their own ball in the air, the complete opposite of Cork at the moment.
