Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Garda Vetting for a PSA licence

    Hi,
I have recently completed and passed a course for a PSA licence through Fas. I have all the paperwork ready along with my fee to send away for the licence. I have to fill out a Garda Vetting for to send away with it. I have 2 court appearances over the last 8 years. One was for no road tax and I totally forgot to pay the fine so I was summons to court a few months after. The other one was about 4 years ago when my insurance ran out on the car and I couldn't afford it. The car was off the road, One evening I was just stupid enough to drive it up the road to the shop and I ran into a checkpoint. I got 2 years off the road. I appealed it after 12 months and they gave me my licence back. Will these 2 convictions affect me getting a PSA licence?

Thanks for that. I was looking a table they have made out on that document. What I can make of it is that they will consider me if the conviction was 2 years or more ago. My insurance convition was 3 years ago now. Fingers crossed.
