    Hi Guys,

Have you stopped this facility now? I only had 9 euro in my account before I got paid and tried to take out 20 and go into a unauthorised overdraft as normal but it wouldnt go through. I have applied for a normal overdraft now anyway so fingers crossed I get it :)

    Hi tallaghtmick.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Permission to avail of more funds than what's available in your account was never a facility which we provided. Some debit card transactions may force you into an unauthorised overdraft at times which would be due to the way the retailer processes the payments. We would always advise our customers to make sure they have sufficient funds in their account before they make any transactions and stay within their agreed limits.

Going into an unauthorised overdraft on your account will incur charges and may have a negative effect on your credit history.

For information on these fees, please see here.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

    Hi Laura,

I always knew about the charges and was able to take money from your ATM's with no problems.
