Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After a dismal few weeks my campaign is over :( Well done to the_dazzler who had a comfortable 30 odd point lead after beating me on both legs. Best of luck to the last 16. Should make some interesting reading as it whittles down!

Thanks also to Lemlin and everyone else who helped with the running! Hopefully I'll be back next year ;)

That draw is a fu**ing joke:). I thought i'd seen the back of you Lemlin, well, at least until the final:D.

I'm having a terrible season so to get through in this was a pleasant surprise.

My team is in better shape than it was but don't fancy my chances against the king. Easy draw for you but my lads will be ready.

Need to take advantage in the home leg before trying to hold on in the second leg:)

How did our Group games go? I can't even remember.

I always apply a strategy of Blitzkreig. I will seek to destroy you in the First Leg.

I don't quite remember myself. I definitely lost 1 game but may have fluked a victory in the other. We'll call it a draw for rivalries sake:pac:

Lot of players in common with Mint Sauce. Differentials are (me on left)

    Speroni vs Boruc
    Kos vs Williamson
    Cahill vs Terry
    Gerrard (c) vs Sterling
    Dzeko vs Sturridge (c)

Also I've taken a 4 point hit. Sturridge worries me the most. I'm bringing him in next week so hoping he has a quiet one this game week.

I take a 19 point lead into tomorrow. We both have Suarez and Mata. I then have Sturridge and narfsnonsense has Ade and Sterling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

45 pt lead. My SSS and Evra V 'Remote's Boys' Evra, Gerrard, Rooney, and Suarez(c).

    Squeaky bum time.

    Who's this narfsnonsense:confused:

You have this in the bag. Unfortunately for me you had a great first leg which meant i needed a miricle to catch. I could/probably should have chosen a differential captain but i have to think of my money leagues where i have an outside chance of getting something.

Best of luck in the next round.

**Sterling hat-trick and studge 1 pointer would be nice.

Did you notice the part where I realised Evra was not in my starting 11. Suarez as captain could make up half the dificet on his own.

    :(

I admire your pessimism but 45 points is a huge gap. Even if Suarez scored 20 I'd need evra, roo and Gerrard to outscore Studge and sterling by 26.

    I need this to happen - ;-)

Narfsnonsense and my self are both on 48 each, and both with Mannone to play.

GW34 means so much more now.

I lead 59 to 54 but Qwabercd has Demel to sub in for Bennett so he'll take the lead.

    I have Mannone left.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,278 ✭✭✭slingerz

5 up with Mannone left to play over Mackers1. Worse that I have Puncheon (16pts) Rosenior (12pts) on the bench. I really didnt want Hazard to be brought on for Chelsea on Saturday!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,439 ✭✭✭Boots234

Yeats County is beating me by 4 points and we both have Mannone playing tonight but I also have Eriksen. All the games are very close

Eriksen crucified me tonight. Pity he couldn't do that all those weeks I had him.......

You lead 74-65 going into GW 34. Tight enough but I do plan on taking a points hit to avail of the DGW, so it will take some comeback for me to overtake you.
