A major fire has broken out at a storage facility near Waterford city.
Five units Waterford and Kilkenny fire services are at the scene of the blaze at Southeast Port Services in Belview Port .
The fire broke out just before 10am and a number of diesel tanks have gone on fire.
It is understood there is a gas tank nearby and gardaí have cordoned off the area and set up a 200 metre exclusion zone.
The facility has been evacuated and there are no reports of injuries.

For people unfamiliar with Belview Port , note that this facility is not inside the Port area , but is situated on the roadway to the left towards Smartply ( where the tall chimneys are )

Access to Belview Port is not affected .
