That's nothing, my ould fella used a metal bed frame (head board thing) as a small gate. He had it tied onto a stake in 3 places on one side with twine. And secured in with 1 twine on other side. It did actually swing in the beginning.
I only wish I had taken a picture before I 'acciddently' flattened everything with the tractor and trailer

We've still got the 5-sticks-stapled-together-with-3-strands-of-barbed-wire/twine gates. I want to keep one for posterity. And to remind future generations of the perilous nature of trying to pull a twig (stake if there was one) into a loop of twine/wire top and bottom. Who needs a gym?!
