Sports clubs for 6yo

I'm probably just being thick but I can't seem to track this down. We're in Knocknacarra. Looking for football or another activity with plenty of running for a 6yo. We have him signed up for swiming but are looking for an additional activity in the area. Does anyone know any classes or clubs I can look into?

Rahoon/Newcastle.
Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30. They do Under 6's, Under 8's, Under 10's.
Well run with an emphasis on fun while learning the basics. Why not give it a try for free....

What about hockey? In this part of the world its definitely a minority sport for boys. But it's a great sport. Galway Hockey Club have a boys training session on Saturday mornings at 10:30. And are always looking for new boys to join. Very small group and two great coaches. My young lad loves it.
