    Info in about the bag restrictions for the two games in London;
    Important Security changes for 2013

    To help provide a safer environment and significantly reduce entry time into the stadium, the NFL will be implementing a STRICT BAG policy for both 2013 International Series Games at Wembley Stadium.

    DO NOT bring a bag to the stadium for either of the events unless they adhere to regulations outlined in the link below. If they do not meet these regulations you will be required to surrender your bag or be refused entry to the stadium.

    Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: handbags larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, cinch bags, seat cushions, and luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

    In order to ensure you don't have any issues on arrival at the stadium, please visit http://www.nfluk.com/tickets-events/wembley-bag-policy for full bag policies details.

    Now I know that some U.S. people are giving out about the restrictions but as it is a follow on from the Boston bombings it is kinda understandable. But to apply the same restriction in London, is that not a bit excessive?

    Were the same restrictions on last years game?
