Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Remember PSV last nite(fast and exciting) Fener are the exact opposite. Where are Stoch and Cristian?

Not too bad a first half. Ramsey Wilshire are working well together. We seem to be a bit cautious going forward. Giroud not having the best of games. Optimistic for the 2nd half!

Giroud is bloody useless. As Alan Smith says "We are lacking that Cutting Edge" pity Giroud is nowhere near the class of Smith. Ferebanche are awful.

We really need another midfielder and a striker. Wilshere continues to look a way off his best and Rosicky and Giroud aren't really good enough.

Ray Houghton has no clue. seriously who watches this and thinks he knows what he is talking about. Just content to spout any old crap that seems to be the latest arsenal stereotype.

After Nanigate last year fener very lucky to still have ten men.

Fenerbahce are doing stuff that wouldn't look out of place in a Irish junior league.

I've them backed +1 but if they concede I can say good luck to that bet because Webo, Sow and Kuyt look about as useful as a glass hammer.

Girouds been doing fine, it's the service that's let him down.

Think Wilshere is having a good game

His movement and link up play has been poor.

He hasn't done anything impressive once he's had the ball.

Was just going say the same. Service has been poor but attacks are breaking down a lot when it gets to him

I think we would see a different player if we could get someone who could put a quality ball into the box from the byline! Unfortunately none of our players have the ability to cross the ball properly.

I'd have far less time for Giroud than Walcott. At least Walcott is presenting a threat on the break and can beat a man. Giroud isn't doing anything with the ball, his movement is clueless. Should have done better with the shot he had inside the area too.

    Where's Podolski?

In fairness to Giroud, Fener are playing 2 deep midfielders in Emre and Meireles and have a wily old thug of a centre half in Bruno Alves. Add to that Walcott hasn't really been trying a yard and that he's playing lone striker in a very unwelcoming stadium his job doesn't get any easier.

Houghton is making out he's some sort of hapless clown, no doubt as a sneaky dig re the Suarez debacle. He's a French international who's scored in nearly all his recent games, give him a chance for f**k's sake.

Kuyt's looking even more like Sloth from the Goonies tonight!

    Great goal

Ffs Walcott is a complete waste of space today. He's giving the ball away very cheaply today.......

Lol he just set up Gibbs!

Yes GET IN! Super little ball from Ramsey, making amends for the ridiculous sh1t up the other end a minute or 2 before.

    My man Ramsey. Great stuff.

Ramsey continuing to look like the player he was threatening to become before the leg break I see. Great play.

Very he knew going in that was gonna hurt

Rumours of a new keeper may have copped him on, completion is what he needs

Shocked at how atrocious Fernebache have been.

I'd have thought Arsenal would be there for the taking tonight but it's not been the case at all.

If they win this match does that mean everything is ok again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Has this Webo lad only taken up football recently?

Seriously bad performance from Fener. Thought they'd be up to more at home. Can see Arsenal progressing very easily at home.

Their big name players have been a disgrace. Meireles hasn't kicked a ball straight and has been pulling out of tackles all night. Bruno Alves has looked totally disinterested and has been caught out far too many times.

Jack's been better tonight, showing much more discipline defensively and letting Ramsey forward a bit.
