Just a heads up for everyone to keep things out in the open. Ger and I will be back next Monday as regulars. Vasco is injured but, of course, his place will be held for him as he's a good regular. tfh is going into the first 12 on Monday nights. Bizz213 is going to be first reserve on Mondays and will be the next person to get a guaranteed slot if we lose a player because he's shown great interest in getting a game.

It's the lads who show up week-in-week-out, in rain, hail, snow, or heatwave, who keep these things going so they should be the ones who get priority as regards selection.

Another thing, I know other lads who've organised 5/6-a-side who said their hearts were broken chasing down people for payments and we've had none of that. Since we've started this thing last year we've only missed one €5 payment (just a mistake I reckon) which is quite remarkable and indicative of the honesty and soundness of the people who've come together to do this thing we enjoy doing.

I think we can all give ourselves a firm pat on the back for our contribution to these two hours of craic we have on astro-turf every week.
