Where to get rid of grass and hedge cuttings

    Hi, we have a corner site with a lot of hedges and a lot of bags of grass after cutting.
    Its €16 to €22 to dump after each cutting in Ballymount recycling centre.
    Anyone know of any free place?

    Yeah theres a place in crumlin that take it, presume you're in that neck of the woods if you're using ballymount.

    Only thing specified on the site is that it be 'bagged' green waste

    I'm glad I can dump mine on my compost heap as that's an expensive fee to have to pay to recycle a non hazardous material. No wonder I see so much hedging being dumped along the sides of rural roads.

    If its a DCC recycling centre then its not free to dispose of green garden waste.

    Its 2 euro per bin bag.
