Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i have an iphone 3G (or 3GS!) which was jailbroken, then accidentally updated in itunes by my sister,

and now is stuck in a recovery loop. itunes says it's a 3G, but redsn0w and other programs like that are

labeling it as a 3GS, so i'm not 100% sure either way. i've fixed several frozen iphones like this before,

but this one has beaten me. i've tried and tried and tried loads of different methods,

but nothing has worked, and now i'm fresh out of ideas. here's all the relevant info:

    iphone: 3G (or 3GS!)
    device model: mc132b/a
    current installed ios: 5.1
current installed baseband: 06.15.00-6.4_m3s2 (ipad baseband!)
    itunes error: 1015

    stuck in recovery loop.
when you turn it on/plug it in, it displays the "usb cable and arrow pointing towards the itunes logo" screen.

    HELP???...

Have you tried Ireb r6 it's an older tool for jailbreaking/recovery fix but I've found it never fails when kicking a device out of recovery.

Have you tried DFU mode? Google it for instructions.

Yes, I already tried that, but to no avail.

Okay, I never heard of Ireb. I'll give that a try. Thanks.
