Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there a iPod touch 6th Gen coming soon ?

    Wife is looking at getting a ipod touch 5th generation for her birthday in mid sept i heard a rumour there could be a 6th generation launched around 10th sept is this true does anyone know ?

    Probably not, the latest update from last year was the first major redesign the iPod Touch has had since its introduction. Just a few months ago they introduced the lower price iPod Touch without the camera. There's been no leaks or and details on an update.

    There's always a possibility of an update though, if there is, it will most likely be a speed bump, or maybe taking the fingerprint scanner that's supposedly going to be added to the iPhone 5S. I personally doubt anything major will be introduced, if it all.

    Maybe wait to see if the rumoured September 10th event happens and if anything is introduced then. If you can wait that is, but it's only a few days away from invites being sent.

    If Apple are going to announce any iPod updates it'll either be with the iPhone updates or iPad updates. Waiting until at least October might be the safest bet before you make a purchase but it's all guesswork really as only Apple themselves really know what the future updates are.
