New Child Tax Free allowance

    Hi,

    I recently had a child with my partner about 8 months ago and was informed that I am entitled to a enhanced tax free allowance due to this because of extra cost with having a young baby

    I am wondering would anyone know the details surrounding this or the form that I must fill out.

    Check with your local citizens information, check with revenue also

    One Parent Family Tax Credit is available if you are not cohabiting. Who told you about the enhanced tax free allowance? Unless you are referring to the Home Carer Tax Credit? You must be married or in a civil partnership for this.
