Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Villa haven't actually created a whole lot

You might just single handedly draw this game level through sheer will power.

Villa deserve a point here, but hopefully won't get it.

Was that a pen? I missed the replay?

Sturridge MOTM.... Riiiight. Good goal but has done little since. I'd give it to Okore or Bacuna for Villa myself.

    Stone wall penalty

Hate to say it but if he had made more of it we'd have the pen

Got 2 hands on the ball in my view.

Guzan got a touch after Sturridge's touch. Could have gone either way though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

Wasn't gonna be a pen with this ref

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Guzan touched it. Sky watch it twice and still think it was a pen.

Just about. Hard for the ref to see it though.

Felt that if it was Suarez then he would have made a huge deal out of it

    GET IN

    Lovely 3 points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Same two players that decided the win for us last week did it again this week.

    Sturridge and Mignolet.

Sturridge gets us the lead and Mig makes sure we keep it.

Very happy with the first half and shook my head a lot at the second half.

Like last week a lot of our flaws were on show for all to see, but six points from two games will do me for now. Think back to how many points we had after two games last season lads.

Villa showed plenty of signs of being the sort of team that will push a lot of teams hard this season, but I reckon the Villa support would rather have played like Liverpool and gotten three points than be getting plaudits for losing well.

worked for it, but we'll take it! One moment of quality stands out, well done Sturridge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

This time last year, without Sturridge and Mignolet we'd likely have had 0-2 points from those games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,655 ✭✭✭El Inho

    pardon my french...

    but

    f£$k this 1-0 crap

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Well I'll take 6 points from 6. Second half wasn't exactly convincing after an excellent first. Need to get a couple of new players in. And Suarez back hopefully.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,316 ✭✭✭kevohmsford

Only got to see the second half. Great win

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,073 ✭✭✭Devilman40k

Didn't deserve the 3 points, but feels pretty good to have 6 points after 2 games (particularly after battling for those 3)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,359 ✭✭✭stampydmonkey

2 games 6pts. Thank you mingolet
