Tattoo meanings

    Hey Guys,
    I work in a bar and have seen a few lads withs 4 dots tattooed on the top-side of theyre wrist, any idea what they mean?
    Also seen a cross tattooed on the middle finger :?

    usually done on the knuckles or fingers though. Youd wanna be a really crap hardman to get it on the top of the wrist. All the other hard cases would tease you
