massive water outage

    Hey all, woke to find we have no water.

    I rang the council and they've just told me there was a large break in the water mains last night, most of the north side of the city and areas on the south side are without water.

    They said they should have it fixed by this evening.

    Was this in anyway connected to the very large break again last night.?
    Heard the Kilmallock road roundabout area was massively flooded.

    AA Roadwatch gave it a mention on Morning Ireland so it seems to have badly disrupted traffic. Said it was a burst water main causing flooding on road. I don't know the geography of Limerick city/environs so could not tell you where it was.
