Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a game where anything is possible and is agonisingly close to call. It will not be scoreless, that is one thing I will say (but seeing as how my predictions I make on Boards usually go tits up...)

And there you have it... :o

2 poor enough teams that wont be that competitive in the final stages of the CL

Amazing comment to make when it's 2 juggernauts in the premier league title race this year not wanting to lose, in their 2nd and 3rd game respectively. This would be a different game if it was in December.

    Woeful game.

Evil Kagawa would have something to say about it :P

2 rich teams who have been in the Champions League final 5 times in the last 6 years!

Bring on Crespo, even with a dab of grey he's still better than Mikel

It goes to show how important Rooney is to us, some of his passing has been terrible, he doesn't have a full game under his belt since the summer and he's still out best player by a million miles on the pitch. People wanting to sell him are ****ing mental.

Imagine the grief rafa would get for setting up like this tonight..

Whats with all the negativity? I'm on the edge of my seat with nerves and anticipation.

Okay, i take it back. Pretty horrible to watch, even with united bossing most of the match.

Have to say very very neg second half from Utd bench, full backs were left loads of room and weren't told to press forward and no Kagawa even tho Cleverky has been anonymous.

Pretty standard Mourinho game. You'd swear he was German with how boring he can be at times.

I'd say Torres has lost the ball every time he was near the United box, and each time it came straight back up the other end.

    turgid muck.

chelsea's game plan ruined it but united should have been able to do something with that strike force

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,479 ✭✭✭CastingCouch

Mourinho should have stayed in Spain.

Abit of quality on the wings and United would have won imo. Cant wait for Nani to get back

Fair result. Neither team did enough to win it. United a bit better but a draw was fair in the end.

    Typical negative Chelsea at OT.

Even though they have a fantastic record at Old Trafford?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

That's a classic Mourinho "big game." Kept it tight, didn't give up chances easily. Perhaps with a striker Chelsea may have possessed more of a threat going forward but there's still time to remedy that. All in all I'm happy with a point given the result yesterday and I'd say Mourinho is happy with it too.

Torres really doesn't look like he has turned it around with a preseason under his belt.

Really woeful stuff from him and his first touch is getting even worse.
    Poor game all round.
