Hi, does anyone have construction drawings of Two Bed Mid Terraced houses from Grove (e.g. timber frame)?

It is needed for construction company's and their engineer.

    great, I will try that.
In case if they don't, would you have a copy handy on your files?

Planning drawings and construction drawings are completely different so it's unlikely there's any detail on those drawings in the council. Of course this will change in 2014 when drawings need to be lodge with building control. Best bet is to get 'as built' drawings from the developer. Edit: Might not end up getting these due to copyright.

would you have any idea how to obtain old construction drawings for Charlesland Two Bed Mid Terraced houses?

We need the roof part of the drawings only.

surely you can see the roof elements as is and your engineer can work things out from there?

sure we can see, but it would save time for him and me if we would have plans handy.

It is very unlikely you'll get your hands on the plans as there will be problems of copyright. And in any case, every house will be slightly different to the next so it's probably best getting the engineer in first-off. When you say 'their engineer', are you not hiring your own engineer? I'm curious as to whether you have investigated if this engineer is appropriately qualified, has professional indemnity insurance etc. The 'conditions of engagement' between you and the engineer is key. Just throwing a spanner in the works!
