Broadband keeps dropping DSL

    Hey all,

I have a problem with my line and I don't think Eircom can help. My broadband keeps losing its DSL every couple of minutes and I don't know where the problem is. Eircom have basically said the problem is on my side and it could just be the line in house needs to be replaced, but they kind of jumped to that conclusion pretty fast and I'm not sure if it is the case.

Basically I don't know what to do next. Is there any info the router can give me about the line? I have a Zyxel P-660HN Eircom router.
What can I use to test the lines from my side? A Cable certifier?
I'm of the understanding once the line comes into your house it's nothing to do with Eircom and they won't help? So who should I call if I need to re-wire my house?

    Thanks,
