Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The worst thing about tonight is sering the terror in our defence when Mcgregor runs at it.

Why is that do difficult to defend against when there are so many fast players at the club already.

That big lad up front who scored for County looks like Flo Rida.

Only Sturridge and Hendo coming out of this with any pride

Gerrard was excellent until extra time, but faded. Toure was excellent too.

I thought Sterling had a good game for the most part too.

Toure maybe, Gerrard needs to do more as a captain to stop us slumping in the second half.

Henderson has been superb since coming on both going forward and defending.

To answer a question a few pages back, I think wisdom should have stopped the second goal, wasn't that awful powerful and he made a poor attempt to get in front of the ball imo.

Other than his goal I thought he was terrible for alot of that. But he did good job at rb in fairness

    Im most concerned about:

Wisdom - he's just not that good
Johnson - Clueless bird brain and lackadaisical - needs a kick up the arse.
Toure - how long will he be out for :(

Kinda glad the way this result panned out, got a result but the hard way. It'll stop me putting the house on a win on Sunday.

The way we performed in extra time is the way we should have performed in the second half.

At least we're through and the extra time shouldn't have an effect for Sunday, plenty of time to recover. The injuries are a worry though.

I'd be far more worried about Johnson, Wisdom needs these type of games at this stage, it's why The Rodgers is right about a loan move.

A CB signing becomes an absolute necessity now, no excuses whatsoever.

I think that fact that we played well after going down to 10 men shows that a lot of our problems are pyschological, Toure going off seemed to wake everyone up, got them doing the simple things again. Need to find a way to snap out of it.

Meh, too much rubbish on one page with 50 posts on it. About 15 posts a page is about enough, probably even too much sometimes.

Just read Toure and Allen are boned, sake. Whatever about Allen, we are defo going to miss Toure at the weekend

    .

Why would it baffle you. People thank god for things in their daily lives all the time. I was on my knees and pleading to god for mignolet to save the peno against stoke a lot more than I've seen any player carry out a religious act. The anti religion sh1te from After hours is really taking hold on boards.....

There's a sense of humour board about here somewhere.

There's also a "whatever type of Christianity/Islam/Judaism etc. "whatever you are into" board about here too.

Arthur Matthews had the right idea with the CCCP.

saying "thank God" when something good happens is not the same as actually attributing the good thing/hard work to God.

For instance, had he said "yeah, thank god I got those goals, we really needed them", i.e. the same way you used it in your example, then no problem.

What baffles me is that he would actually think that him scoring a goal was God's direct intervention - especially considering the arrogance required in such a claim, when you consider how many millions of people could have done with that direct intervention much more.

I'm not anti-religeon at all, I just find it hard to understand the thinking behind comments like he made, hence, bafflement.
