I thought they found the eyes without the corneas attached?

According to the BBC - which is the only place i'd read about it, I can only imagine the scum Daily Mail sensationalism - Police said they weren't missing.

Police found the boy's eyeballs at the scene. Local reports initially said the corneas were missing, potentially pointing towards organ trafficking.

Police now say, however, that the corneas were not missing and they have yet to establish a motive for the attack.

China eye-gouge case: Boy's late aunt named as suspect

Chinese police say a six-year-old boy whose eyes were gouged out may have been attacked by his late aunt, state media report.

The boy's aunt, Zhang Huiying, killed herself six days after the incident by jumping into a well, state-run news agency Xinhua reported.

Police say they found blood from the boy, Guo Bin, on the aunt's clothes.

If it was her then what an evil old cow she was.

If this wasn't organ trafficking then what could her motive possibly have been? (if it was the aunt) Maybe there was no particular motive, maybe she was just a twisted lunatic.
