Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Possible Android repair sticky?

    My SGS4 has gone to the great phone shop in the sky. I got caught in a downpour and, even though it was in my handbag, it got drenched. :(

    I left it into GMS Solutions who came back with a quote of €125 and 12 days of repair time. They said it was very badly water-damaged, and I don't know any better, so I can't say they're wrong. I didn't go ahead with their repairs and am going to try other places to see if I can get a better price. It was only afterwards that I checked out the forum and saw the bad reputation that GSM Solutions has.

    I was wondering if it would be worth having a sticky of good repair shops for different problems - like best for cracked screen / best for water damage, etc., specifically for Androids.

    I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but it would be a useful resource - 'cause I did try going through threads for good repair shops, but it would be easier if they were all in one.

    (Also - if anybody knows a good shop, a PM would be great! :))
