Need some help regarding account

    My Dad has a BOI account that he hasn't touched in years, it was just a savings account that he would put the odd bit into now and again.
    Because of this he never really checked his statements that were posted to the house.
    Anyways today he happened to open one from March 2011 to June 2011. And basically the whole account was cleared. There are transactions going to western union accounts, ESB accounts and loads of pass machine transactions.

    Because this happened 2 years ago is there anything at all that can be done?

    We would be unable to comment here as it can depend on the individual case. You would be best to either get your father to call his branch to discuss or to call into his local branch with the statements. You can find the nearest branch here.
