    Usually after a long term injury you are more likely to pick up a smaller strain or tear other than the original injury site. Lile sandro, and lucas for lpool did. If his knee is in a bad way it may be that he is unable to do al the other conditioning work thats needed. It becomes a catch 22, cant train fully because of the knee, when he trains something else goes. Make or break few weeks for him really.

    Agreed, and unfortunately as he hasn't played for some time, if this season goes the way of last I could well see him being let go next summer which would be a real shame.

    I think Walker should not be playing in games like this. I know they may not have cover in this position at the moment but I would use a make-shift instead. If he was injured in this competition who would replace him in the big league games we have coming up? We have to prioritise the prem league imo.
