An Irishman has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the deaths of two people in a car crash in Australia in 2007.
Eamonn Driver, 31, from Slane in Co Meath was recently extradited to Australia and appeared before Perth Magistrates Court today.
The collision happened in the Perth suburb of Bedford on 31 October 2007.
Colm Reilly from Slane and Kiara Duncan, from Kentstown in Co Meath, both aged 20, died in the crash.
Driver was behind the wheel of a car when it crossed a median strip, overturned and collided with an oncoming car, being driven by a woman, who escaped serious injury.
He left Perth in November 2007 before being charged with any offence.

Bit sh1t that he didn't take responsibility for his actions in first place and had to be extradited. I'd imagine that's the reason it had taken so long to come to court, extraditions are always messy...
