Amazing survival story. Great to see he survived and was rehomed. Also great to see the person responsible get some jail time. It's about time this country took animal cruelty seriously.

How the f**k did he survive??!! Shot 5 times in the head, battered with a shovel and left in a ditch for 3 days before he was found??!! Jesus H Christ words fail me, I'm really glad to see the guy actually got punished for it and of course that the dog now has a new loving home, but honestly that's disgusting and barbaric, sick f**ker

what an abaolute sickf f*cker that owner is, he shouldnt be allow have kids either if he would treat his dog like that. how would you firstly even think of doing that to your dog and then to leave it in a ditch for dead, just hard to understand

He tried to kill his dog, with an Air Rifle? Sounds like he just wanted to see if the gun could kill. Guess it couldn't. Delighted he got jail time, and the dog is doing well.

It's in the UK which seems to have more sympathy when it comes to cases like this than we do in Ireland.

Holy crap though, poor poor dog. What kind of sick f**k would do this. Anyone who can hurt an animal and not care must be a danger to people...Scary stuff
