Does anyone know where to get dried chillies in Cork?
    Or online?

I'm thinking of things like chipotles, guajillos, anchos and so on.

I want a bit more authenticity to my mexican dishes.

I was able to get one type in the English Market but they were unsmoked and mild. Can't remember what type.

You'll get anchos in Tesco. Apart from that it's buying online, I'm afraid. If buying online, remember parcel motel if buying from UK.

My brother has ordered off this crowd before: http://www.spicesofindia.co.uk/acatalog/Spices-of-India-Spices.html

Have to see what the shipping would be like.

Is there a benefit to the dried ones as to fresh, not being smart but I never thought of freezing chillies and used to always get the dried ones until I found out they are grand to freeze so now I just have them chopped and ready to go

You can have parcels delivered to an address in Antrim (UK) and they will ship it to your local parcel motel for €3.50.
