Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How Gerrard did not get booked there is beyond me. Asks questions if the ref is sucumming to the occasion.

Giggs has been poison. Needs replacing ASAP. Front two have been starved of service.

Making this Liverpool aide look good. Need some composure in midfield and a kick up in tempo. Nano needs to come on for Giggs.

As said if the ref books Gerard then RVP is off as they were both at it

Hope Aspas quits mouthing off 2nd half and focuses on finding a bit of form.

In fairness they have looked good. They've bossed the midfield and dealt with Man United's rare excursion into their final third very well.

So you are saying that a Utd player would never do that?

Fellaini and Herrera would be useful...get Cleverley out on loan back to Martinez in exchange thats when Cleverley did well test him out back there

The thing is since the goal, they havent challenged the defence again.

Sky are really impartial aren't they with their choice of guests. Dear me.

G Nev in the commentary box for the whole match and the 2 Liverpool lads in the studio. That seems fair to me.

Is Moyes ready for this level?

Well he managed to get Everton to finish above Liverpool in the league over the last 2 years on a shoe string budget.

It's only logical to believe he will do better with Utd given the players and resources at his disposal.

Although this game mightn't reflect it so far, I'm confident Moyes will do just fine. It's not really a suitable discussion for a match thread though.

We have this every year. Whatever it is about that pokey little stadium, the United players never give a performance there. There is nothing usual about this performance, we just have to hope for a result and onwards and upwards to a title challenge win lose or draw. It's been the same for years

Still think Lucas is suspect, gave away some stupid frees and tried his damndest to give away another couple. Stevie G has been immense

How does Giggs start these games still is beyond me. United need to make changes at half time, and even an unfit nani will make a difference.

Credit to Liverpool they know our weaknesses and are pressing our slow build up.

Don't understand why they need neville commentating either. Should really have a few more pundits to choose from.

Really need to get that 2nd goal as usual against a, poor, poor utd team.

I think United will be all right this season even if they don't make any new additions to the squad, all right for about 14th that is.

He has been awful. Too many poor passes and trying too many flicks which has caused problems. He should be an impact sub not a starter anymore.

I hope Fergie left his hairdryer to Moyes.

he didn't leave the instructions, that's for sur

Moyes is employing the same tactics as he did when Everton beat United last season. Pressurise them in their own half and prevent them from passing their way up the field. The old Jack Charlton method.

He's not that far from their worst, he's within about 40 yards of Young.

We've been saying for years that Giggs starting these games for far too long.

Watch later in the season, he will have a cracker against a big team and be rewarded again with another year long contract, totally ignoring the fact he has been pretty much dog plop for the majority of the last 4-5 seasons.

Even the same corner routine with rio off the pitch like Cahill used to do

Fair play to the ref, making sure the usual surrounding and berating isn't happening.
