Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's the highlight of Liverpools season, while United will March on to bigger and better things.

Terrible game. Depressing as a United fan. If I was a Liverpool fan I wouldn't be much happier. Two crap teams playing a crap match decided by a crap goal.

    Glazers Out!

As happy as I am with this victory....any team with title aspirations should be beating a team with starters like Cleverly and Jones.

Very tidy performance from Liverpool. Didn't create too much but really stifled Man United. Coutinho was disappointing has to be said.

    Such nonsense

Wow. For most of that 2nd half I was thinking we might get out with a draw at best. It's really encouraging to see that we can play poorly and grind out results.

In a few weeks time we'll be looking at this side plus, Sakho, illori, and Moses coming in, Suarez back from suspension, Allen, Borini, Toure, Cissokho to return from injuries. Not horrid.

    Delighted for Liverpool.

Just shows ya how delusional some United fans are. 4-0 my eye. Moyes will do well to last the season tbh.

Awful stuff from United, created very little and lost their heads under pressure.

    Let tge wins keep rolling

    Hendo for MOTM

Playing like that it would be more likely that Liverpool are headed for a rude awakening.

Bit unfair on Jones. Would say Giggs and Cleverly in midfield anyways.

Liverpool reach their season target of a win against one of the big four. Now when they finish sixth or seventh in the league, they can still look back on a successful season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭mrsoundie

Perhaps Giggs could get a super injunction to stop the highlight of that being shown as they were so crap.

Great win for us today, that second half defensive performance was good, dont think they looked too threatening even with the time and space they had.

    No.

We'll win lose the corner, woodwork, injury and possession count.

They'll probably win lose the goal count.

But 4 categories > 1, thus we get the 3 points.

    ;)

United so shockingly average, it was actually sad to watch them at times. Like I said, nowhere near the best team in the league.

Bit early to be saying that. Utd might not make top 4 yet.

Both sides were fairly poor. United's inability to create and sort of chances has to be very worrying.

    so, so flat in possession.

Is it bad that it took to the 90th minute before most of the United players looked to have any desire?

Moyes 4 points from 9, he's left us with one day to sort out the shambles that is our midfield. Got tactics and selection wrong today.

Fair play to Liverpool, deserved to beat us, tactics and selection spot on for the first half. Tailed away in the second half but still got the result,

They could have been wearing Stoke City shirts today. They don't look a top four side never mind title contenders. Years of no improvements in midfield catching up.

I wonder how Moyes thinks Baines is the answer?

go to the first few pages of this thread. You will see a good few United fans with some hilarious predictions. I won't quote to save their blushes but they're there alright.
