Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You would think it would be Liverpool and United fans trying to get a reaction from each other in here.

Ha man, I'm having a football discussion with a guy who gave his opinion on kagawa, you're free to join the conversation if you want to :)

No thanks, I'll pass on that one. I'm not as familiar with the Asian replica shirt market as yourself.

Oranage doesn't care who he gets a reaction from as long as he gets one.

the acrimony is based entirely on tradition.

The pool team (especially without Suarez) is not anywhere NEAR as good as united.

Uniteds squad is much better and deeper too.

Of course, Liverpool COULD still beat them. Cardiff just beat Man City.

But overall, United are far far better.

Untrue and unfair, there are plenty of forums a lot more controversial than the soccer forum I could post in but dont, I say 90% of my posts are in the soccer forum because its the forum I enjoy the most and have the most interest in. I also just keep my posts r soccer related unlike a few posters here that like to throw in personal jibs.

I'm getting a bit sick of this and this will be my last post in the thread.

Squad wise and over the course of season yes utd are better but in a single match it is pretty even especially as current form is quite even added to the fact that Moyes has never won a match at Anfield.

So no it wouldnt be like cardiff beating city because Liverpool are actually favourites for the match with the bookies and if they win it will hardly be a shock.

If you are a betting man with that level of confidence then the 2/1 on offer with corals should be max bet material

It's like when someone ask who's your fantasy band line up and the first answer is "John, Paul, George, Ringo".

    V.good.

Does Shadow Complex only post (usually fantasty/dream) XI's? Seems like it.

I highly doubt those that are highly confident on an internet forum with their predictions of United winning and not just winning, but by 3 goals or so would put their money (not chump change neither) where there mouth (err hands?) are let alone anything near a maximum bet ;)

is it not a bit crazy Liverpool are favourites for this one?

    Without Suarez?

    United almost fully fit...

Think ill be throwing 20quid on Utd to win (draw no bet) at evens money

Why would you be worried about a draw:confused:

Even money for DNB seems decent. Just in case Valencia puts in another performance like the other night and totally blunts our attack

why would I be worried about a draw? In soccer?

    Draws happen all the time.

the best team doesnt always win

No idea in the odds (I'll only look at the MOTM, card and corner market myself) for Double Chance, but he'll probably end up taking that :D

Kagawa hasn't made an appearance for us this season unless you are counting the 7 mins he played in the Charity Shield

He needs to get away from Utd if he isn't getting games

Get away from United? Do you believe he has been under-used? You know he started and played in the majority of all the games up to his bad knee injury which:

    1) Kept him out for two months

    2) Totally took away any momentum he had built up

    3) Ensured that when he did return to the team, he would find it tough to get back into contention due to the team being settled and gathering pace towards a title challenge

Stats for last season including appearances:

    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/shinji-kagawa/leistungsdaten/spieler_81785_2012.html

He was then called up to the Japan national side, playing the full 90 mins in three matches - away to Brazil and Italy and at home to Mexico.

This meant he never got a pre-season under his belt, so it is understandable that he is not playing the opening games.

Add in the fact that Moyes may have wanted to play Rooney over him during this time to try and bury the transfer talk and it's all fairly understandable.

I very very rarely bet on Liverpool games myself just the odd first goalscorer bet

What is the point in doing fantasy line ups? I can't see the two teams amalgamating anytime soon so absolutely pointless. FFS.

Have 50 on Coutinho at 9/1 first scorer. Think it will be a 1-0 or 1-1 scoreline in a scrappy enough game.

I think that united will win with a buttner goal late in the first half. Going in ahead at the break, which is very important as John Giles would say, but that is another story at the end of the day. Take it one game at a time and hopefully City will canter to the league title. Remember be safe kids.
