Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This looks like Giggs' ''Neville against West Brom'' moment.

Jones is bloody useless with the ball, his passing has been muck, just as it has been all season.

Skrtel seems to think his only way back into the team to avail of the ol' Carrahoof.

Why is that taking the piss? The man is the greatest manager we have ever had and a legendary figure in the game. Only appropriate to show respect.

Why should Man Utd players have to stand and applaud that, why should they care about Bill Shankleys birthday? There was definitely an element of Man Utd are in town about it. Liverpool are forever pulling this kind of crap before games.

They were using it to get a competitive advantage.

I've no idea what it's got to do with Liverpool

It's a testament to how good they are both with their back four and top four considering their usual gaping hole beside Carrick. Cleverley just isn't up to the taste.

Look at Carrick slowing the play down, letting Liverpool reorganise after a bout of quick passing.

    Cleverley ahead of Kagawa...

Just send him out on loan if you're not gonna use him.

Himself and that Hillman are in the running for DOTM. Close battle this. Fatigue might play a part in the awarding of it.

This really shows how important a Kagawa/Rooney link man from Carrick to RVP is.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,286 ✭✭✭ankles

Under Moyes Utd are definitely a more direct team, many more long balls up for Welbeck/RvP to take down. Also full backs expected to bomb on and cross. trouble is none of that is particularly subtle. Bypassing midfield (such as it is) is not a way of winning titles/champions league. Moyes' and his team's tactical inexperience is horribly obvious

    Aspas is not good

To be honest, I'll always try and give players a chance over a decent period of time, but Aspas is looking every inch a player for a mid-table Spanish side today. Way off the pace. I'd be surprised if he's involved in a goal for us today. Obviously hope I'm wrong.

Have United ever played Young centrally? Seem to remember him doing well there England for a bit.

United should pull giggs and wellbeck deeper and push Ashley more central.

    Aspas is not good

He's doing a cracking job stopping Carrick from getting United going though. Keep an eye on him for the next few minutes, his main job seems to be lessening Carrick's influence on the game.

Do you know what would be nice, if United played Kagawa centrally, that would be nice.

United should pull giggs and wellbeck deeper and push Ashley more central.

They should really buy a midfielder that is capable of driving the team forward.

Always amusing to hear Evra being booed for getting racially abused

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Pool's creative players look like scoring almost every attack and United just hoof the ball in the box expecting RVP to score a backflip volley.

    Ozil or bust
