I've been completely absorbed by paradox's grand strategy games for the last few weeks.

That $125 dollar option is an amazing deal though.

That $125 deal is insane. 48 games.. you're probably looking at between $400 and $1000 for all of those if purchased normally. If I could afford it, I'd definitely go for that.

Damn. I own so many games on those lists to make this not attractive. :(

Then, I suppose that's a very strong recommendation! Just have a read of the Strategy forum if you want to see how popular Paradox games are.

War of the Roses is a decent game now, it does still need a few tweaks but it used to be quite buggy and generally laggy but they've fixed it up alot and can be fun to play.

If you like games in the same mind as Chivalry then you might like this. It isn't as fast paced but it's alot more strategic and there is alot of customisable options. You can create your own classes and outfit them any way you want (even ride on horses with lances) and go as far as even choose the type of steel your weapons are made with (which affects certain stats on the weapons).

Yeah I've heard great things about Crusader Kings 2. There's a ton of DLC available. Might grab that during a steam sale or something.

What exactly is the game like? It looks like total war but without the RTS style battle. I take it all about political intrigue and forming your dynasty? If so. Awsome.

    Was a damn good game.

Pretty much. It can be very Game of Thrones-ish in it's dynastic intrigue. In fact there's even the GoT mod for it.

Sweet. thanks for the link. Think I'm gonna have to take Stannis to the iron throne.
