Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a dog trainer in the North Dublin area.

It's for a 2 year old German Shepard

    Thanks

If you don't mind, what kind of training were you looking for?

Just some general obedience training. Sit, stay, walking on lead etc. If she can be taught to make coffee and do the washing we would also consider it

John also specialises in training dogs to make cups of tea, though I suppose he may be able to broaden that to coffee too?
Seriously though, John's a very good trainer, and knows his German Shepherds back to front, so thumbs up from me for him too ;)

There are classes on Tuesday evenings at the National Show Centre beside Dublin Airport. They Start at 7pm for puppies or 8pm for older puppies & adults. They are pay as you go. A small registration fee & then 5 euro per class.

Can't recommend John from Dublin Dog Training enough! I recently finished basic obedience training with my 7yr old Lab and we are now going to move on to the advanced training because we enjoyed it so much and my dog is doing so well from it.

Johns classes are fantastic and so enjoyable. His classes takes place on the estuary road in Swords.

They need to update their website with a bio at the least...

OP I've done classes at DTI and always found them good. They're usually 4 dogs/handlers per trainer so lots of one to one time if you need it. They have groupon etc deals every now and again so a good bargain if you get the voucher! ;)

+ 1 for John. He used always have German Shepards too sî GD really knows & understands the breed inside out. If your GS is 2 & still needs basic obedience ( sit, stay etc) I'd be going to John first -he really is a dog genius -I'd highly recommend him.
