E-Fibre Live date

    Hi

    According to the E-Fibre map, my area is going live in Jul-Sep 2013.
    I checked my landline number on Eircom's website and it is not fibre enabled yet.

    1-Shall I check back by end of September?
    2-Is it normal that there are no cabs installed in my area while it is supposed to go live in a month?

    I have checked this for you and the upgrade for Fibre is being enabled in your exchange at the moment and will continue until the end of September however the cabinet in your area/estate also needs to be connected for the service to work. I'm afraid this has not been done as of yet and we have no lead time on when the cabinets are being enabled. Eircom will contact you when it's available to order in your area or you can call 1800 503 303 in October to query this with them.
