Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    so ribery won the european footballer of the year messi second then ronaldo. for me it shoulda been his team mate robben as i feel he contributed a lot more to bayern last year

    Give Messi a top scorer/golden boot award for scoring 60+. Ribery was a big part of a Bayern team that won everything last season.

    Might be a stupid question, but what are the criteria?

    If it's the best player in Europe, well then the answer is obvious, Messi is head and shoulders above every other player in the world right now.

    However, if it's the best player in the CL, then obviously a Bayern player should have won it. Could have given it to several different players, with some Dotmund players not far behind.

    I think its in all competitions its judged on. Not sure though.

    It was judged over the Champions League tournament. Robben was better than Ribery IMO.
