Good tribute to Sean Hughes on tonight’s show (RIP).

    When was that? First hour?

Yep, one song by Microdisney and one by Cathal Coughlan :)

I think John Creedon along with Roman Collins would be more suited to RTE Gold. I think it's way past time for a change

Always good to hear The High Llamas on the radio.

    No!

RC is like a birthday show on R1 with the odd playlist, JC is a personal mix of (ok mostly old) but some decent new stuff that ain't heard anywhere else ...Perfect!

I disagree with this, although it isn't a terrible idea in itself -- it depends on what you would replace him with..?

I can't think of a better fit than creedon in that slot, broadcasting as he does between an arts show and a current affairs programme.

If anyone wants to get rid of him, then it would help to open the discussion with an alternative suggestion.
