These nucaht readers always seem to be Unprepared

They have probably got so used to waiting five minutes for D'Arcy to go over to them they get a surprise when somebody is on time.

Ray Darcy trolls them by overspilling by up to six minutes. I doubt very much that John would do that tothem

Happy xmas to alll the folks on here,

I don't listen as often as I'd like to . If any of the youngsters need a lift anywhere between eight and ten, I'll do the driving. After a bit of persuasion, my daughter has stopped changing from Creedon to i104 on the car radio.

Is John doing 11 to 1 tomorrow? Read it somewhere and didn't know he did it every year.

Ahhhh.... two hours of John Creedon's tunes more than makes up for having to work on St Stephen's Day evening!

I've sent in a request.... wonder will he play it??

Followed by The Gloaming in concert! :)

    What did you ask for?

I very much doubt he will play it!

Wouldn't really fit in with the mood of the music he's playing so far :pac:

It's a cheesy oldie that I'm slightly obsessed with as I cannot find it anywhere, and only hear it about once every five years when Ronan Collins plays it - Joe Cuddy, Happy Everything. I just love it!!!

(The only other time I asked for a request he played it five minutes later, but that was The Alan Parsons Project, which would be a bit more his style :D)

    On de telly or radio??

If the radio, that's my NYE sorted anyway :D (they always make a dog's dinner of the telly show no matter who's on it, won't be going near that!)

Ah well, no one would begrudge Creedo of taking some time off :)

As long as it is the only time off he has in 2018 :D

Sean Hughes tribute on now :)

Nil desperandum Heidi. The show's archive on RTE Player has hundreds of past shows to listen back to, - enough to get our fix for January until John returns all refreshed :)

I know he's not John, but Fiachna does a very nice job.

    My Tuesday is made :)

Creedon has a knack of playing some of the most cynical pop tracks yet making them shine in amongst the gems that he plays. Lillian did just that with Lady GaGa this evening. If the head of radio is reading this, please get her to cover for the rest of the month.

Poor Fiachna unsurprisingly sounded very emotional tonight - great show.

    RIP Dolores.

I lost count last night at the number of times he mentioned Dublin Tradfest etc. Several occasions, multiple times in one speel.

Is Fiachna on a retainer or is he a investor/ promoter of this commercial event?

I see Fiachna has scaled back on the Tradfest tonight - down to about half a dozen mentions in the first hour.
