Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gmail Issues

    I have one gmail address Im having trouble getting work on an IPhone.

    Ive tried it on a 3S and a 4S - both phones work fine with another GMail. Strangly it works on an IPad 2 - but i want it on a more portable phone.

    You can log in ok using Safari on the phones - but neither Exchange or GMail wizard will work- says password incorrect or cannot contact imap.google.com

    There was a page mentioned - a captcha that is supposed to authorise the account for the phone- when i try it i dont see any captcha but the google message says should be authorised ok.

    Two factor auth is not enabled on that account.

    Any ideas anyone- has me really puzzled...

    First of all Google have now disabled Exchange for new accounts, so it'll need to be IMAP. Have you tried setting it up on 3G or a different wifi network?

    Thanks - good idea - just tried it on two spearate wifi and the 3g. No difference.

    I know password correct but it says imap password incorrect using any iphone on this account :/ works fine through safari.
