Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Regular here before and have a wonderful child but after a mc and a good year of trying to conceive we called it a day over a year ago. I was happy with this decision and we have been careful in fact I can't believe it!

Will be having a scan at 8 weeks due to last miscarriage but this pregnancy is purely theoretical at this point and even up to 12 weeks. I don't think I'm looking for advice or comfort I think I just want it on boards so people know it's possible to be pregnant at 43 whether it's viable remains to be seen :-)

    Wishing you all the best!

My mother was 44 when she had my youngest sister (also unplanned), she had no problems with the pregnancy or birth, all went very smoothly! Hopefully it'll be the same for you. :)

Guess I am joining your club.
And all those lovely congratulations just dont cut through the shock.
Currently 6 weeks myself and 41.
Yes a 41 year old can ask "how the **** did that happen"
Was so happy with my little family, career, got figure back, happy days.
This is so hard to adjust to.
Hope everything goes well for you and you look forward to your little bundle.
I just cant get my head around it.
