Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's started most of our games so far if not all. No choice but to play him as Cazorla is our only fit option for the left at the moment.

Our first 11 looks more dangerous than Spurs but we have nothing on the bench to come on and make a difference.

& i love carzola gem of a player (is he mata in disguise?)
he is playing centrally as a #10 today?

Rosicky in the centre Cazorla on the left I reckon.

Plenty of British talent on the field today i see. Walker, Townsend and Rose for Spurs while Ramsey, Wilshere, Jenkinson, Walcott and Gibbs start for Arsenal.

Frimpong (although he declared for Ghana grew up in London), Naughton, Defoe amongst the subs from both sides

I'd be chuffed with a draw. I don't think we have the creativity at the moment (Eriksen should help to address this) to supply Soldado properly from open play though we should be good from set pieces. Our midfield is very strong defensively and hopefully Paulinho can bring that extra drive and goal threat.

'Story on kaboul? Not even on bench.

All this talk about arsenal been screwed if they get an injury at CB and it could be us who are fooked.

Hoping for a Arsenal win here, bring spurs back down to earth and and send bale off on a lost :)

Hopefully a Spurs win to put some tension back into the title race.

Hopefully a draw, an entertaining one at that.

Lamela right, Paulinho central and Eriksen left is the plan for the future you reckon?

I hate Alan Smith doing commentary on Arsenal matches. He tries too hard to prove he isn't biased that he goes the opposite way and is Anti Arsenal.

Not sure tbh, think it could be Lamela right, Townsend left and Eriksen central, with Paulinho, Dembele & Sandro fighting for the 2 CM spots. AVB is keen on players who can switch wings so I'd imagine the two wingers will be swapping quite a bit during games.

Close twice form Cazorla. Very cheeky second time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,949 ✭✭✭SuprSi

Chadli has been pretty good so far

Jenkinson is being rode by Chadli so far. Needs to stay tighter.

Cazorla is wasted on the wing

As a watchable sports brand, watching Spurs is not the same without Bale. He is a big loss to the league. I can't see myself going out of my way to watch spurs games this season.

Cazorla is wasted on the wing

Reminds me of when Mata, Silva and Kagawa play on the wing. Getting half of what a player of their quality can really offer.

    Good goal.

    Giroud, 1-0.

Some build up to that goal. Super. Rosicky's movement in particular dragged defenders all over the shop

Stopped watching the game for 10 mins and missed the goal.

Great finish from Giroud in fairness.
