Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I still think Sessegnon to West Brom is mad. Surely he'd have more options than them, they could well be in the relegation mix from their start anyway.

Agreed. I reckon Sunderland will be lucky to survive in PL this season with that clown they have in charge

Well I meant West Brom would be in the relegation mix, which is why I'm baffled why Sessegnon would go there. I think Sunderland will be ok once they gel a bit, it depends if Di Canio doesn't piss off half the squad though.

At least one person definitely won't be watching Sky Sports News tonight.

Arsenal have to be the only club who'd scrap their transfer record & wage structure because of fan pressure for the player they don't need.

Everyone could do with Ozil, unbelievable player. Real fans must be raging.

Selling arguably our best player to the only club below us in the table means the club have actually outdone themselves this time.

Pocket money for our decent players, sign a couple worth their salt and fill the rest of the squad with cheapies or loans hoping to do just enough to stay up and pocket the Sky money next season.

    Rinse, repeat.

Please tell me you are trying to troll?

Arsenal stated at the start of the summer they had the money to get top players on fees and wages and were intending to do it, if you really think Wenger or Arsenal would give in to fan pressure you really havent listened to the man once in all these years.

And it's Ozil he would walk into every team in the EPL.

This +1000. Ozil would arguably be the highest profile signing in Premier League history given his current stature. Can anyone think of many players who were more reputable than him at the time of joining the Premier League (and still be at a prime age)?

I'd say he will have a similar impact as Sneijder had at Inter.
    Very good player for them.

Sky Sports News reporting that United representatives are Mediterranean side trying to wrap up the Herrerra deal.

Someone really should tell them that Bilbao isn't on the Mediterranean.

He's a great player but Arsenal have some gaping holes in their squad need filling, and he's a marginal upgrade in an area they were pretty decent already.

Darragh might be the closest thing Sky Sports have ever had to Eamon Dunphy. I'm just eager to know if he is always like this or if he is heavily inebriated, either way I like it!

There's nothing you could describe as a gaping hole. We need a striker who'd compete with Giroud, and a little more depth everywhere. A backup CB would be good but not essential. A left winger would be a plus, but not really essential, again. Flamini has solved the midfield depth issue to some extent. We've gotten a keeper to compete with Chesney.

All we need is some world class quality to give us that edge we lack in big games, and Ozil is that. And if you think he's just a marginal upgrade, you've no idea what you're talking about.
