Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

3 more points so happy days

i think Boruc underestimated Giroud. He thought here's this big donkey, i'll just football it past him. Oh. Balls.

    @MesutOzil1088 "win against #sfc and still top of the table . #cleansheet #threepoints #arsenalforlife #AFCvSFC #BPL"

Got childlike giddiness at the arsenal for life :D

Seen he posted this last week.

Crossing my finger for Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny. Want to see you in brazil.

    Poor bacary!

Hi all, absolutely delighted with 3 points.

    Fortunate opener but that happens.

Good to see a good referring decision.; That said Giroud fantastic, Ozil and Cazorla so so. Hoped for more. 7 out of next 10 great!!

Just read a great comment which made me laugh

    'Nacho was on the pitch
when Nacho's on the pitch you know we're about to win'

The Setanta coverage is actually far more insightful than the BBC.

They made the interesting point that Southampton have struggled all season against teams that don't play out from the back and gave the results to back it up. Arsne bypassed the midfield today by lumping it long to HFB and this made it really difficult for Southampton.

MOTD just talked about Jack Wilshire :o

MOTD is now a really bad show. They really need to revise the format and presenters. Even so, the intro music always brings me back to my youth!

A rampant Manchester City thrashed Tottenham to reassert their title credentials and move six points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.

    Thank you BBC.

true, I forgot we are up next against them.
    This will be interesting.

Nice one, we are at home on Tuesday.

Utd could have won that game tonight, they should have kicked on. 3 points for the taking.

Provided we dont take the same approach as Utd did in the second half we have a good chance for 3 point against Cardiff.

True, there's only 8 points and +17 goals after 12 games in it between spurs and arsenal.

I reckon we'll beat Cardiff without too much trouble.
They are wide open at the back.

agreed, united were without a good few starters in fairness, we should have enough to win our next three at least.

Negative spirals are great :) What must positive spirals be like then if Negative spirals are this good?

Ha ha. He really knows how to appease the Arsenal fans doesnt he? :D For a foreign player he sure seems determined to cement some sort of cult status at the club,

pretty sure he has spent half his life at the emirates? wasnt he part of our youth system?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭jonneymendoza

city where good yesterday but spurs played like a school football team.

There defence was laughable to the point that my man aguero was barging and outmuscling spurs defence LOL it was downright laughable for a small average built striker outmuscling a defender.

came over from Legia when he was 16 i think.

But he has totally bought in to our rivalry with spuds...he never misses a chance to wind them up..

Lets not forget lads that we were on the end of a drubbing too not so long ago.
Spurs will now be fired up to take a point or three from United next weekend.
Either team dropping points will be a bonus but we have to beat Cardiff and I think we will do that easily enough.

Any word of the injured players after Saturday's game?

Arteta had cramp but should be fine for Tuesday, Flamini might replace him anyway.

    Who else was injured?
