Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nacho is great, shows you how well Gibbs has done this year to keep a player that good out of the starting line up.

    Let's try again:

Hopefully Sunderland can at least get back level with Chelsea.

Just watch Flamini lads. He is brilliant for linking up the play and never gets caught out of position. Always nipping at their heels when they have possession.

NEVER let the ball out of your hands Chesney!

Time for Walcott - thanks for the goal Bendtner but he's looking a little leg weary now.

Congrats fellow gooners - meanest defence in the league.

Well only according to the table and the goals conceded column - whatever they mean.

Anyone else getting a bit of dejavu about the 07/08 season with this current season? I really hope we dont come off the rails come the new year like we did that year, even if you could attribute that to Eduardos injury.

Head injury. By law, it had to be blown up.

I think this team are made of sterner stuff tbh, lot of players who couldn't handle the pressure when things started to fall apart back then.

Suarez might get two hat-tricks today

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,411 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

Spurs will be 9th if stays like that, 13 points behind us. That's our main rivals folks :pac:

    Suarez scored again, bloody hell.

    Poor choice as captain.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

we should have upped the Suarez bid.

    40,000,001.99 at the very least.

    True that.

    William ****ing Gallas was captain.

When im on my death bed in many a year time, i'll still remember him sitting in the centre circle when the peno was being took, crying like a baby.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭Ed Winchester

    Poor choice as captain.

Gallas was a series of bad decisions.

    1. Signing him.
    2. Givin him Bergkamps squad number (that killed me)
    3. Making him captain
    4. Not booting him out of the club after the center circle fiasco.

    Poor choice as captain.

Stayed Captain for another whole season after that too didn't he?

    Goals flying in!

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,411 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

Sunderland scored again, unfortunately chelsea did too :(

On the plus side, Chelsea's defence seems to stink on the down side I really think Everton are going to be very tough to break down at the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,500 ✭✭✭Drexel

On we march. Gotta be happy with that :D

As Mickeroo said above, Everton are goina be a tough match

Best thing about tonight is that Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere and Giroud all got well needed rests.

Mental block. Arsenal just needed that bit of luck to go their way. Once that block lifts (and it will) then you'll see a different Arsenal against Utd.

Chelsea are doing well and showing the same old Jose Chelsea steel but they appear to be really reliant on Lampard and Terry.

Unsure how they'll hold up over the season.
