Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I agree with other posters that Pod should start but personally I'd put him in instead of Gnabry, push Ozil out to the right and have Santi back in the centre. I think Cazorla is very effective through the middle and Ozil is grand out on the right. Nothing against Gnabry either, I'd have him back in the team for the cup game next week.

Cazorla have to start these are the games hopefully he will find his form

Atleast the squad now has plenty of decent options

I think I read that Cazorla has played in every one of Arsenal's Premier League clean-sheets.

Excluding his cock up in the last game, he has been solid defensively and almost always comes back as opposed to our wide wingers.

that's why wenger doesn't like playing podolski & walcott in the same team.
podolski & ozil on the right would be even worse

damian duff snubbing gunnersaurus, prick :pac:

I think we will see more of the attacking Gnabry today.
The defensive side of his game was very good at Villa.

Brian Little - Arsenal are doing very well for such a small squad

Is he getting paid for this nonsense

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    lovely play - very close

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,756 ✭✭✭emergingstar

If we had a striker that offered a threat in behind we would be unreal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,423 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

I wish Jack would shoot more often.

Started well but a bit of sloppiness has crept in recently - hope that doesn't continue

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Parker lucky not to be booked for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,748 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

We actually have no threat from direct free kicks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,423 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Hate the way Santi gives up when he loses the ball.

Need some urgency - Fulham looking more likely to score than we do at the moment

Ive only been watching the last five minutes and we've been terrible. Looking complement again

Another ref unaware that he has yellow cards

    only Giroud could miss that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Ozil should have been booked there - p

    Sagna is very poor today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Could do with better options attacking from the right - Sagna has been poor and Gnabry is playing in the centre

Seems a signing or two is needed.

Absolutely awful first 45, that was truly awful against a really poor team.

Ozil has just delivered the worst 45 mins I have seen from any Arsenal player for a long long time, he looks hungover.

Someone needs to have a word with Gnarby dreadful shooting and the wrong decision all 3 times.

It can only get better surely

In fairness the ref has really tried to let this game flow

Wow, i have never seen us as static on the pitch. No movement whatsoever, lucky to be 0-0.

Little bit of hand-break left on ...

Correct decision poor execution for me.

We won't win the league with Giroud IMO, mid table water carrier who defeats the purpose of our midfield.

Wenger and Bouldy will give them a kick up the hole they need.

Gnabry loves a pop at goal. It's just a pity he left his shooting boots at home.

Loads of time to get the result we need.

    Rosicky needs to come on

  • Registered Users Posts: 205 ✭✭king Henry 14

As I ve said before we need another striker. I think giroud is great for us but he's going to have his off days and we need more than one string to our bow as far as striker is concerned. Wenger needs to invest or risk seeing all our good work up to now go to waste.

Bit of width this half and more intensity and we should start creating a few chances. Rosicky to come off the bench hopefully. Wilshere has been anonymous. Hopefully he scores now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,881 ✭✭✭TimeToShine

Aside from Cazorla and maybe Wilshere we're offering nothing in attack today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,423 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

It's odd that the finger has been pointed at Giroud today. He has got no service whatsoever. Our crossing has been dire. Can someone name me a midfielder who has shone?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,480 ✭✭✭ronjo

Lads lads.. ok we are playing poorly but only half time.

    Have some faith.

We will score in first 5 minutes ;)
