Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A few people tipping Gibbs for left wing. Isn't Monreal much more likely than Gibbs to play there??

Gibbs is better than Monreal going forward. He uses his pace to great effect on the overlap and he gets into dangerous positions much more frequently.

I don't remember him ever starting there for us before though...

Cazorla seems to be out too

    Steve bould left wing :):)

Ozil starts according to the BBC, roll on 3pm
Ozil starts for Arsenal at Sunderland, Wilshere starts, Cazorla not involved, Vermaelen on bench, Sagna CB & captain

Ibra turned us down back in the day when Wenger asked him to have a trial before he'd sign him, allegedly. What a signing that would've been.

    Ozil starts

Lot of people in my league captained Giroud. Better not backfire!

Hope Ozil is up to it today; Wenger doesn't have much choice with Santi out.

Will he play left I wonder

Or go with him in the middle with one of the youngsters or our left backs playing wide left

Cazorla and Mertesacker back for Marseille. Arteta 1-2 weeks away. Rosicky 'probably' 2-3 weeks. Podolski , Chambo and Diaby long

Thats not too bad. As long as we get no injuries today we should be ok I think. Arteta and Vermahlen are prob the two most important to have back.

Edit: I cant wait to see Ozil!

Took a gamble on making Ozil my FF captain, hope he does start now. Really looking forward to seeing him play.

Good win. Got lucky for their mental non goal but overall we were well worth the win. On another day we could have been 3 up at half time. Disappointed with Walcott. He should have scored at least one of them chances. And he had a good headed chance too. Has he scored a goal this season?

Ozil looks like he's been playing with us for years. Ramsey was great. Wilshere had a good game. Defending was dodge at times. really miss Mert. All i care about now is that Giroud is ok

Just made my fantasy transfers and hope the trend continues.

Week 1: 3 Arsenal players, Arsenal lose.
Week 2: 3 Fulham players, Fulham lose.
Week 3: 3 spurs players, spurs lose.
    Week 4: 3 Sunderland players.....

Guess I'm picking three Stoke players next weekend :pac:

Imagine if Ireland had the players Wales had, Eamonn and Johnny would be spitting fire at their results

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Ozil could make or break Theo. He is going to get twice as many through balls like he ran onto today, and if he starts to tuck them away again he will run amuck.
Besides who else on the Arsenal team can put themselves on the end of those passes? Can't think of anyone with that kind of speed, he is such a huge asset to have on our team as he scares defenders with his pace.

Luiz Gustavo was sent off for the 2nd time in his 3rd Wolfsburg appearance today, while Flamini is bossing it. One Arsene Wenger! :)

Very disappointed with his finishing or lack of today. All were a bit too casual for my liking.

Starting today we have the following gaps between matches: 4-4-3-3-3-5.

Tough run with the bench we had today.

Just knew it was going to happen with the way everyone was saying how he doesn't get injured. :pac:
Looks like were going to have to wait that little bit longer to sing that song, Cazorla to the left of me, Ozil to the right...........

I see AVB is stating we overpaid for Ozil

Sure fair enough. I for one dont want to be too harsh on the man who sent us into this negative spiral we are currently in. :)

Obviously the likes of Diaby will make it seem worse, but even taking him out it would still be pretty bad. Something needs to change.

How many 30 million nobodys did AVB buy this summer ffs?

    Ye are cursed!

Surely the medical/fitness team could do with being evaluated, its beyond bad luck the amount of injuries ye get

If its soft tissue injuries we need to look at the strength and conditioning coaches

If there impact injuries well that's just plain bad luck

AVB said **** all that was controversial about Ozil. Said he cost a lot and is a great player.

Good win. The injuries are a worry, especially Giroud, but we have a pretty good run of fixtures coming.

Sure Willian done a runner from his medical when he got the chance :D

Lamela might come good but he is not in the same league as Ozil.

Flamini has been great in his first two matches, Constantly barking instructions to his team mates is exactly the type of player we need in that position.
