Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

I repaired the power button on a friends iPhone 4 - It wasn't clicking anymore and therefore his phone wouldn't turn on. I replaced the powerflex cable and proximity sensor with ease and reassembled the phone - turned on straight away but nothing came up on the screen. It does however light up when I press any button, makes the usual sounds when plugged in to charge and vibrates etc. I had the phone tested with a working screen and nothing changed. I had read in some places this can be a software issue so tried to restore the phone in DFU mode - I constantly got an error 1611 saying the phone could not be restored. I'm at the end of my tether with it now. Has anyone got any past experience with this?

    Thanks

**EDIT** I've got the phone out of DFU and disassembled it and reassembled it again, checked all connectors..still the same. I put it into DFU mode now again and I'm getting error 3194.
