Southampton have been very poor all year and pose little threat in front of goal. So why take off Rooney and put on another defender? To allow Southampton onto us?

Nani was getting a lot of joy and was taken off way too early. We had the chance to kick on and seal the match but instead we tried to cling on to a 1-0 lead at home to Southampton. Not good enough

Yes Kagawa was on the bench. Not sick, not injured. But Smalling is clearly a better substitutions to make at home to Southampton when we are winning 1-0.

Moyes still has my support but at what stage does he realise he's at the Premier League champions and not Everton? Bizarre substitutions. Southampton were working hard but not really threatening at all, Moyes threw the points away.

I only got to listen to the second half on the radio, Today Fm. The commentators were not all that complimentary about United, it appears to have been another lifeless performance where we couldn't string five passes together, would that be right?

I have to admit, it was very depressing to hear the commentator read out the subs bench, naming Zaha and Kagawa, then a few minutes later they announce a sub coming on, and the sub is...Ryan Giggs. :rolleyes:

I'd love to hear Moyes' reasoning behind his substitutions all season, because from where I am sitting they have been universally dreadful.

Ya they owned the ball for long periods of that game,they have some quality
midfield players,I think Schneiderlin is very under rated in what he does,quick feet,can pass it well and can also defend well.

Lovern had RVP in his pocket for most of the game,but Utd aren't creating the amount of chances they were last season for him

Time for someone to send Moyes last seasons League review DVD,they weren't great at times last season but they were still creating chances

Its clear to me anyway that he totally out of his depth. I dont care that its not really his team but you dont have this awful start to the season with the current PL champions. Its a dreadful appointment from the very start

It's the same as any other profession, he has proven that he is out of his depth...the more time we give him, the more damage he is going to do to Manchester United Football Club. We are comfortably out of the title picture. Not only because of the points gap but also because of the performances.

And this is a team that won 5 out of last 7 prems, losing the other 2 by a single point, and a last second Aguero goal.

Why is Ryan Giggs still getting game time , he can barely complete a pass anymore meanwhile a huge creative influence like Kagawa rots on the bench. WellBeck isn't fit to lace Hernandez's boots either

Moyes isn't making it easy to give him full confidence. As many have said the subs were shockingly defensive. He seems to be so worried about defending a lead that his subs just invite the opposition to pin them back. I could understand giggs for fellaini(considering there are no other options for midfield) but having genuine game changers like hernandez and kagawa on the bench and refusing to use them is just stupid

Hes clueless and out of his depth, he better get us champs league football then **** off and let someone who knows how to manage a big club take over.

Hes went straight in there and been faultless right from the off.

We needed something like that and we did nothing.

Id understand it if he played Kagawa but at this stage the sooner he leaves the better. If it continues this way having him there on the bench every week and ignoring him is just embarrassing for the football club more then anything.

He could be a huge player for us hes not been given the chance and Moyes is running out of excuses at this stage.
