Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just thought you guys would like to know that a flood of bets has slashed the odds on Fergie becoming the next UTD manger

    Sleep well

    The link reads Ireland manager...

Odds slashed after someone stuck a 20 bid bet on I'm guessing.

Imagine how surreal it would be to have him as Ireland manager

Now is a good time to back O Neill.

Doing really well since he moved to Hull.

    Macheda scores for Doncaster.

Jones, Rio and Carrick should take a long hard look at themselves today. Absolutely shocking. Anderson was poor today too. Buttner isn't good enough at this level.

Taking Kagawa off was a poor decision.

Surely Kag has to be injured, has to be

Will need to catch match of the day later,

That is an absolutely piss poor result.

Was there just shockingly bad performances or bad tactical decisions? Looked a pretty good starting 11

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,229 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Watch people try to put a positive spin on that or say we'll be okay in time. This was a must win game and West Brom played us off the pitch at Old Trafford.

    Can't pass, can't defend, can't attack. We're done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

    Pathetic performance.

    Well that wasn't good.

Starting to get a dislike for Jones. Not his fault at all he is picked to play at rb but he is a horrible rb.

Also think Janjuaz should be first choice he is brilliant. He and Nani done well.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,724 ✭✭✭tallaghtmick

Im sorry but hes out of his depth just not good enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

I think we can take some positives from that match. Januzaj looked good. We'll be okay in time.

Absolute disaster of a start in everyway possible.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,490 ✭✭✭Ordinary man

Bar rooney and maybe de gea, i can't think of 1 other player playing near their best so far this season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,661 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Is this utds worse start to a PL season? Cant think of any others

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

Im sorry but hes out of his depth just not good enough.

Not fair at all, both goals were piss poor defending from Rio.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

Looked comfortable enough in the first half, even if WBA created the best chances of the first half, but by god that second half was shocking,no life in the team at all, hard to know what to make of it.

WBA found it too easy to get at the defence.

Taking Kagawa off starting with Anderson ahead of your 27 million midfielder?

Rio needs to get a kick in the hole! What was that! Ando too. No where near good enough today!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

I don't understand our tactics, nor does anyone else it seems. Disjointed and slow.

I want Moyes to succeed but his decision making is shocking.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,930 ✭✭✭KH25

It is very hard to back Moyes when the team keeps performing like this. Not saying I want him gone, but he's making it hard to have faith.

    Painful watching that :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

Poor result, luckily our rivals have been dropping points to teams below them too. Team selection must improve. Not playing Vidic and Evra but persisting with Rio is just stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Taking Kagawa off starting with Anderson ahead of your 27 million midfielder?

The team put out was good enough to beat WBA. Now maybe Moyes told them to play in a different way to what they are used to but the fact is far too many players have just not shown up so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,845 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

Just looKing back on highlights, the back 4 was shocking dealing with crosses, marking in general. All seemed a yard off the pace.

    Rio shouldn't start again.

Feel sorry for Nani, Rooney and DeGea today. And even at they weren't great

    Shocking stuff

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

Didn't show West Brom any respect with that team selection. Reaped what was sown.
Phil Jones is not a right back, did he ever find a man with a cross? Ever?
Disappointing performance, only positives were Nani and Rooney.

Poor team selection doesn't mean hes out of his depth. Fergie often got it wrong.

wait what? Selection is everything! Yes Fergie got it wrong but not this early on in the season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 577 ✭✭✭Ed The Equalizer

    Fergie often got it wrong.

Maybe he also backed the wrong manager...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

Moyes has to take the blame. Why play rio, he has been awful this season. Smalling was good against the pool so why not use him. Anderson has had his chances and deserves to be shipped out now. Yet, Moyes plays him today.

Wednesday does not matter Moyes, we are struggling in the league. We needed those three points today and you focus on Champions league.

Carrick is back to 2011 form once again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭mav79

After Smalling did so well on Wednesday, surely he deserves a place in the centre of defence. Very good defender, maybe not vocal enough to organize the back four, but every time i've watched him he seems to play very well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Where were all these complaints about the starting X1 before the match? I realise a lot of people may not have been online at the time or avoid match threads but the only negative comment was about jones at RB - all others were happy with the team. That team is good enough to beat WBA and it didnt. Some of that is on the manager but a lot is the players out there

This is a manager with 11 years of Premier League experience right?

Took over a team what won the league by 13 points and spent 28 million

I'm sick of hearing he needs time to learn, how about just using common sense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,661 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Ivy im happy your reading the sig ;) lol

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

It was a terrible performance in every area of the field.

The back 4 were shockingly poor.

Carricks worst performance in a very long time.
Fellaini was awful when he came on.

Only slight positives were Januzaj, Nani, Rooney and DDG

Pretty frightening to think we were dominated at OT by West Brom.

    West fcuking Brom!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,845 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

The team put out was good enough to beat WBA

A team containing Anderson, Buttner, Jones at right back and Rio the way he's playing wouldn't be a shoe in to beat any team in the PL now.

That's just the way it is

    Evans was poor today too

    Disappointing stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,154 ✭✭✭Danye

Not fair at all, both goals were piss poor defending from Rio.

But it's the manager who is continuing to pick him. He's been poor all of this season.
